Parties' Designated Authorities

 
The designated authorities are government officials who act as points of contact for the Adaptation Fund. On behalf of their national governments, the designated authorities endorse a) proposals for adaptation projects and programmes in their countries and b) the accreditation applications of National, Regional, or Multilateral Implementing Entities before sending them to the fund's secretariat for assessment.
