In its concrete projects helping the most vulnerable communities in developing countries adapt and build resilience to climate change, the Adaptation Fund ensures they are of high quality and effective through innovative policies that adapt to country needs and promote human rights, gender equality, marginalized groups, biodiversity conservation, natural habitats, pollution prevention and resource efficiency. Partners under its pioneering Direct Access modality will discuss these aspects of its projects.
