Dethie Soumare Ndiaye, Climate Finance Unit Coordinator of Centre de Suivi Ecologique, speaks recently at the 2015 Climate Finance Readiness Seminar for National Implementing Entities in Washington, D.C. about benefits of NIE accreditation and how the Adaptation Fund’s Direct Access modality has helped Senegal become more resilient to the effects of climate change. He also spoke of how Senegal is sharing their experience through South to South learning with other countries in the region that are interested in NIE accreditation and climate adaptation.
