Accountability & Complaints
At its 28th meeting in October 2016, the Adaptation Fund Board (the Board) decided to establish the Ad Hoc Complaint Handling Mechanism (ACHM) to promote accountability of the Fund and help responding to complaints raised against a project or programme financed by the Adaptation Fund (the Fund) through a participatory approach. The ACHM is complementary to the Fund’s risk management framework, including the grievance mechanism of Implementing Entities.
