During its seventeenth Board meeting, the Adaptation Fund Board, having considered the recommendation of the Ethics and Finance Committee, decided to:
Include information on the Fund’s website about the mechanisms for handling complaints about accredited Implementing Entities and the possibility of communicating directly with the secretariat;
Assign one of the its staff members the task of receiving complaints related to project implementation.
Complaints should be submitted to the Senior Climate Change Specialist of Adaptation Fund Board secretariat, Mikko Ollikainen.
Kindly send contact details and a brief message outlining your complaint. Once the message has been received, a team member of the Adaptation Fund Board secretariat will process the complaint and respond accordingly.
Please find below the contact details of the person or mechanism within the accredited Implementing Entities who receives complaints of fraud or corruption. In the cases of some accredited entities, the AFB secretariat is still in the process of receiving the mechanism for handling complaints. Once the secretariat does receive this information, the list below will be updated accordingly.
