Adaptation Fund: Building Climate Resilience Through Forests

Share

Forests are vital for protecting communities from climate change impacts like floods, droughts, and extreme weather. The Adaptation Fund supports locally rooted projects around the world, restoring natural habitats, strengthening livelihoods, and building resilience for more than 65 million people.

In Brazil, projects like the Açaí Berry Project empower farmers, protect biodiversity, and promote sustainable forestry.

The Adaptation Fund will showcase its work at COP30 in Belém, Brazil (Nov 10–21), highlighting innovative solutions that strengthen communities, safeguard ecosystems, and advance climate adaptation globally.
