Technical Assistance Grant for ESP and Gender (TA-ESGP)

The Interprofessionel Fund for Agricultural Research and Advice (FIRCA) of Côte d’Ivoire technical assistance grant for the Environmental and Social Policy and Gender Policy (TA-ESGP) seeks to enhance the capacity of FIRCA to assess and manage environmental, social and gender related issues and its compliance with the Adaptation Fund’s Environmental and Social Policy and Gender Policy.

Specific activities by FIRCA for the readiness grant include:

1. Carry-out an audit of the ESS and develop an action plan, development of ES&S and gender risk selection tools, development of a manual for gender mainstreaming at the institutional level
2. Development of avenues for public disclosure and gender-responsive consultation
3. Strengthening the Agency’s Grievance and Redress Mechanism
