Having considered the recommendation of the EFC the Board decided to: 

(a) Request Board members and alternates to send comments on the proposal of investigative procedures contained in document AFB/EFC.8/4 to the secretariat by 1 May 2012; and 

(b) Request the secretariat to; 

(i) Continue its consultations on the proposal of investigative procedures, as appropriate; and 

(ii) Present a revised version of the investigative procedure to the EFC at its 9th meeting for consideration, taking into account comments provided by 

Board members and alternates.
