On 16 February 2016, the Government of Mali received peer support for accreditation of a National Implementing Entity to the Adaptation Fund from the Centre de Suivi Ecologique (CSE) of Senegal. The support included the following components:
- Setting an audit and ethics committees
- Developing following documents: ESS, GP, project cycle management and M&E guides,
- Developing a grievance and redress mechanism
- Translation of supporting documents
- Submission of the application
- Travel
- Workshops and logistics
