Readiness Package

On 16 February 2016, the Government of Burundi received peer support for accreditation of a National Implementing Entity to the Adaptation Fund from the Centre de Suivi Ecologique (CSE) of Senegal. The support included the following components:

1. Updating manual of internal procedures
2. Developing following documents: Code of Ethics, Transparency Policy, ESS and Gender Policy, project cycle management and M&E guides,
3. Developing a grievance and redress mechanism
4. Translation of supporting documents
5. Submission of the application
6. Travel
7. Workshops and logistics
