On 26 December 2018, the Government of Mauritius received peer support for accreditation of a National Implementing Entity to the Adaptation Fund from the Centre de Suivi Ecologique (CSE) of Senegal.
The support included the following components:
- Screening exercise, including an information workshop on the
AF and the main features of an operational NIE - Training the NIE on accreditation process and set up a Task force and elaborate a road map for collecting supporting document
- Collecting and analyzing relevant supporting documents
- Review of the adequacy of all required back-up documentation
- Translation of supporting documents
- Submission of the application folder
- Responding to AP comments
- Communication
- Travel
- Workshops and logistics
