Reducing Risk and Vulnerability to Climate Change in Colombia

The US$ 8.5 million project funded by the Adaptation Fund ‘Reducing Risk and Vulnerability to Climate Change in the Region of La Depresión Momposina in Colombia’, implemented by the UNDP and the Colombian government aims to help vulnerable communities adapt to severe flooding and weather events by developing and strengthening hydro-climate information and early warning systems, rehabilitating wetlands and streams to improve water flow, diversifying food sources, fostering climate-resilient farming practices and climate-proofing buildings.
