The Workshop to Familiarize Parties with the Process and the Requirements for the Accreditation of National Implementing Entities for Direct Access under the Adaptation Fund for the Asia and Eastern Europe Region was held at the Hotel Peninsula in Manila, Philippines from 19 to 21 March 2012. The workshop was organized by the UNFCCC secretariat, in consultation with the Adaptation Fund Board, pursuant to decision 5/CMP.6 and in collaboration with the Government of Philippines.
