Senior Communications Officer – The Adaptation Fund is recruiting a Senior Communications Officer who will be the Team Lead for the Adaptation Fund Secretariat’s Communications team and lead the communications and advocacy function of the Secretariat. Learn more and apply here.
Partnership Officer – The Partnership Officer will primarily develop and coordinate strategic partnerships, focusing on collaboration, strategic alliances, and positioning AF within the broader climate finance architecture and adaptation finance landscape. Embedded within the Secretariat’s Country and Partnerships Unit, the officer will ensure partnership activities are strategically aligned and operationally integrated across these functions to support country engagement, resource mobilization, and program delivery. Extended Term Consultant (ETC) – The Adaptation Fund Secretariat is recruiting an ETC to support the Fund’s work on portfolio management, results, and evaluation. - Short-Term Consultant -Support for the internal self-assessment of the work of the AF-TERG: The Adaptation Fund is seeking to contract a short-term consultant (STC) to support the Technical Evaluation Reference Group of the Adaptation Fund (AF-TERG) in undertaking an internal self-assessment and reflection exercise of the work of the AF-TERG since its establishment in 2018.
- Short-Term Consultant – Developing Innovation Strategy Directions for the Adaptation Fund: The Adaptation Fund is seeking to contract a qualified expert to develop Innovation Directions document on a Short-term Consultant contract. The Innovation Directions will outline a proposed vision and mission for the Fund for approaching innovation in line with the Fund’s overall vision and mission outlined in Medium-term Strategy II, and provide options on the Fund’s potential role in the innovation space in the medium term, with the purpose of potentially integrating it into the overarching Medium-term Strategy III (2027-2031), ensuring alignment with the Fund’s objectives and global adaptation priorities.
- Request For Proposals – Adaptation Fund Readiness Strategy Finalization:
The Adaptation Fund is seeking a qualified company to finalize its Enhanced Readiness Strategy, which will strengthen developing countries’ capacity to access and manage climate adaptation finance. The selected vendor will refine the current draft strategy to ensure it incorporates recommendations from recent independent evaluation findings. This work will guide the future direction of the Readiness Programme, ensuring it delivers maximum impact and value for stakeholders. - Short-Term Consultant – Communications and Website Reorganization Specialist: The Adaptation Fund is seeking a short-term consultant (STC) with solid experience in communications or marketing, content management, and managing website improvements or comparable large communications projects. - Short-Term Consultant – Resource Mobilization from Carbon Markets for Climate Adaptation: The Adaptation Fund is recruiting a Short-Term Consultant (STC) to support the Secretariat’s Country and Partnerships Unit in the area of resource mobilization from high-integrity carbon markets, including the Paris Agreement’s Crediting Mechanism under Article 6 and voluntary carbon markets.
