The Technical Evaluation Reference Group of the Adaptation Fund (AF-TERG) work programme focuses on building partnership and creation of value and learnings for all Adaptation Fund stakeholders. It outlines the work plan for the current period (June 2024 to June 2027) across the group’s three main functions: evaluation generation; evaluation utilization; and evaluation capacity building.
The current work programme (2024 – 2027) includes several key Board-mandated tasks that are expected to further shape the Adaptation Fund: the mid-term review of the Fund’s Second Medium Term Strategy and the Comprehensive Evaluation of the Adaptation Fund. These studies will provide the opportunity to reflect upon and analyse the work of the Fund and provide important learnings that will shape the next stages of the Fund’s work in line with the mandates received from the UNFCCC and its bodies. It also presents an implementation plan, mechanisms for reporting and review, and an indicative budget.
Current work programme:
- July 2024 to June 2027 (FY25-27)
Completed work programmes:
- July 2023 to June 2024 (FY23-24)
- July 2020 to June 2023 (FY21-23)
