Strategic-level evaluations assess the Fund’s performance to enable developing countries to adapt to climate change impacts, and to keep the Fund abreast of developments that can inform theories of change for climate change adaptation.

Strategic-level evaluations encompass four sub-types: fund policy evaluations; strategy evaluations; fund instrument evaluations; and thematic evaluations. Of the four sub-types, the AF-TERG have thus far completed strategy evaluations and thematic evaluations.
