Improving the quality and effectiveness of the Adaptation Fund through independent evaluations
The Technical Evaluation Reference Group of the Adaptation Fund (AF-TERG) works on improving the quality and effectiveness of the Adaptation Fund through generating evaluations, promoting evaluation utilization, and supporting evaluation capacity building. Our work helps the Fund, and its partner organizations, enhance the impact of climate change initiatives on people, livelihoods, and ecosystems. It also guides responsible investment by the Fund, as an essential element for its political and public support.
Learn more about what we do here.

Reporting directly to the Adaptation Fund Board, we oversee the independent implementation of the Evaluation Policy, so that the evaluation function can contribute to the Fund’s mission through improved accountability, lesson learning and adaptive management, and evaluation-related capacity development.
