Adaptation Fund Side Event: Fostering Environmental and Social Principles in Adaptation Projects |
Meeting Room 12, Bonn Zone | In its concrete projects helping the most vulnerable communities in developing countries adapt and build resilience to climate change, the Adaptation Fund ensures they are of high quality and effective through innovative policies that adapt to country needs and promote human rights, gender equality, marginalized groups, biodiversity conservation, natural habitats, pollution prevention and resource efficiency. Implementing and executing partners will discuss these aspects of Adaptation Fund projects.

The High-Level Segment of the UN Climate Change Conference to be attended by dignitaries, ministers and other senior officials, will be inaugurated in the afternoon of Wednesday, 15 November 2017 and will close on Thursday, 16 November 2017.
