Adaptation Fund Contributor Dialogue and Reflections from Developing Countries

Against the backdrop of raising ambition for adaptation and transitioning to serving the Paris Agreement, this event provides an opportunity for donor government, recipient, national implementing partner and civil society representatives to highlight ongoing multilateral cooperation of the Adaptation Fund as a building block of the UNFCCC climate finance architecture, and to express support for the Fund’s work.

About the Adaptation Fund
Since 2010 the Adaptation Fund has committed US$ 564 million to 84 concrete adaptation projects in the most vulnerable communities of developing countries, serving 6 million direct beneficiaries. The Fund also pioneered the innovative climate finance modality Direct Access, which helps build national capacities and fosters country ownership in climate change adaptation.
